How Does it Work?

OnlineFamily.Norton creates visibility. It lets you monitor your children’s Web activities and notifies you if something looks questionable.

Here’s how it works:

• Create a profile in your OnlineFamily.Norton account for each child.
• Download the Norton Safety Minder on any computer your kids use. The Norton Safety Minder will monitor their use and report back to the online family website.
• For shared computers, use a separate user account for each child. For help setting up individual user accounts on Macs or PC’s, go to our Resources page.
• Link your Norton Safety Minder with your OnlineFamily.Norton Profile.
• Your OnlineFamily.Norton account is now up and running. Because OnlineFamily.Norton is entirely online, you can check your children’s profiles at any hour, from anywhere.
• Inside your family account, you can view your children’s profiles, adjust their settings, and create or remove profiles at any time. You can also choose whether you’d like to receive alerts if anything looks suspicious.
